Your complete system goes on the work bench. So you need to ship not only the computer but your power cord assembly and drivers discs. We will try to save all your data off your hard drive but urge you to do a backup of all your important information as we cannot be responsible for any missing or damaged data. Your Hard Drive is reformatted, your Windows Operating System* is reinstalled, followed by a complete install of all system drivers and other software you have installed#. We reinstall your saved data and now your computer runs like it just came out of the box – only better because it has your stuff on it.

Software Tune-up
Experiencing slow or twitchy performance?
Quantum Computers recommend that all computer owners take the necessary steps to keep their desktops and laptops running fast and error-free. Just like when you get your car serviced, there are a variety of items that need tuning. Cleaning temp files, incorrect registry entries errors corrected and up-dating software are all part of a normal maintenance program.
Once we connect remotely in to your laptop or desktop, we'll make sure that your computer is current with all the Windows updates including those important security updates. We get you installed with the newly released Windows XP Service Pack 3 (this would be hours of download time if you did it yourself).

Once Windows is updated, we'll tweak your settings to fit you and how you use your system. We'll throw in a 30 day trial version of Norman Security Suite - which we consider the best virus protection available.
Recommendations
Quantum Computers recommend that you have a monthly tune-up program. After each monthly update of Windows is an excellent time to run a system clean up. If you install and uninstall many products you will want to increase this frequency. If you have never tuned up your PC, you'll see a real improvement in speed. As you run closer to your system's optimum speeds you'll see less noticeable improvements with the tune-ups. And that is exactly what you want!

Quantum Computers offers a quick and reliable diagnostics service with our Remote Assistance Connection at an affordable price. No need to haul your system in to find out what's going on. As long as you are connected to the Internet, we'll use secure special Help Software to remote in and take a look. Often we can correct your technical issues right on the spot and if not, we'll give you specific directions on what to do next should you have hardware or major software issues.
Remote Connection allows us to confirm a suspected problem with much less frustration and expense for you. The majority of all computer problems in the first 3 years are usually caused by software issues related to an event caused by something other than the computer itself. If your particular troubles are the result of something covered under your valid warranty, then the remote connection charges will be refunded or waived.
